Can an instrument with three valves, with a small mouthpiece beguile the soul? Like a good date,  the successful suitor must present more then a line filled with hot air. One must have agency with a vetting beyond a one night stand. To slip on the ring requires authentic passion, emotion, and every bit of precision and emboucher, or fit.

Making music with a hard to tame instrument like the trumpet  bring a similar rigor.
