A farewell conversation with Tom Chamberlain, retired President of the Oregon AFL-CIO.

Join hosts Tina Turner-Morfitt, Dr. Audrey Terrell,  Ms. Deborah Hall for the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists segment of Labor Radio with our guest Tom Chamberlain, the recently retired President of  the Oregon AFL-CIO. Brother Chamberlain retired after serving as the President of the Oregon AFL-CIO for 14 years. During his tenure,  his greatest accomplishments were established by building a trust with labor leaders. He created a  direct by-in with local affiliates,  elevating their union value  by engaging in local bargaining  and organizing campaigns, such as ‘Fix the Gap’ with UFCW, working with Unite HERE in developing a neutrality agreement during First Contract and walking the picket lines to demonstrate union solidarity and union strength.  Join us  in our farewell interview with Brother Chamberlain, regarding his role as the Oregon AFL-CIO President.
