A discussion regarding a day long hands on workshop introducing various skilled trades to middle and high school students.

Join hosts Tina Turner-Morfitt, Dr. Audrey Terrell,  Ms. Deborah Hall for the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists segment of Labor Radio with our guest,  who zigs and zags  not only within the world of organized labor, but also in the Portland  Metropolitan area to restore a slipping Black cultural heritage. Our guest tonight is Sister Donna Hammond, Business Representative of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 48.  Tonight we will discuss with Sister Hammond the annual iTrades Career Day scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2019, 9:00 am – 2:30 pm.  iTrades Career Day is a hands on and informational workshops taught by tradesmen and tradeswomen in their fields. The targeted groups are middle and high school students. iTrades Career Day is a collaboration between  iUrban Teen and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 48.
