Kathleen Saadat has been an organizer and advocate on a wide range of human rights issues for almost 50 years in Oregon. Among the issues that she has been in the forefront are Women's equality, LGBTQI freedom, African American rights, antiviolence, and anti war organizing. A brief summary of her incredible life and career can be found here. On June 23 she will resign as chair of Portland's Community Oversight Board and enter retirement.
