Nu-Blu

Nu-Blu, based in Siler City in central North Carolina, is comprised of Carolyn, who handles bass and vocals; Levi Austin on vocals and banjo; Austin Koerner, on mandolin; and Daniel, who is the band’s Renaissance Man – guitarist, singer, manager, and tour coordinator, among many other roles. The group brings its lively and entertaining version of Americana-bluegrass music to audiences across the nation year-round. Their sound acknowledges the traditional institutions that have shaped it, yet is innovative and daring enough to bring a fresh sparkle to contemporary acoustic music that lands them squarely in the forefront of bands blazing the trail in acoustic entertainment. Influences range from the sounds of original bluegrass pioneers like Earl Scruggs, Jimmy Martin and Lester Flatt to rock bands of the 1980’s, and modern contemporary sounds such as Alison Krauss and Union Station.

New Five Cents

The New Five Cents are a quintessential example of the hard driving old time sound of the Northwest. From the heart of the scare dance scene in Portland, they deliver the classic full steam ahead kick-ass old time dance band experience. Joanna Macrae and Patrick Lind lie down the rock-solid foundations with bass and guitar and Gabrielle Macrae and Maggie Lind lead the way with ripping fiddle and banjo.

Hollerbodies

The Hollerbodies are Jon Meek (banjo, resonator guitar, mandolin), Patrick Connell (guitar, vocals), Zach Banks (cello, mandolin), and Ben Ticknor (double bass). The Portland-based quartet formed in 2013, bringing together cumulative decades of studio and stage experience in bluegrass bands and orchestras across the US. Their diverse repertoire of originals, standards, classics, and covers uniquely blend aspects of traditional bluegrass and fiddle music with jazz, classical, and other stylistic influences.  The Hollerbodies appear regularly throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.

Mountain Honey

Sweet and golden acoustic music inspired by brother and sister harmonies of the Bluegrass tradition, based in Portland, Oregon. Mountain Honey features Linda Leavitt, Dee Johnson and Greg Stone.

Puddletown Ramblers
