The sweet life; a conversation about bees and chocolate.
We start with Kara Blandi, the founder of OMA chocolate. In her interview, she describes her chocolate making process and the history of a local chocolate startup, and makes some chocolatey snack suggestions! We also have a story from fermentation revivalist Sandor Katz about a trip he took to Indonesia where he witnessed the indigenous process of making tempeh. At the end of the program, Jen Davis will be in the studio for an update on pollinators such as bees and butterflies and why they are so important to our food supply.
