Tommy from Oakland-based Beats Antique will be our guest for this evening to kick-start our Spring membership drive and provide a preview of their Saturday performance at Someday Lounge.
Beats Antique forges a curious alliance between middle eastern traditions and potent west coast circus, underground hip hop, breakbeat brass band, downtempo, glitch and dubstep. I've played them plenty on previous shows and it will be an honor to hear their influences and more.
