Occupy Portland Protest Charges
A protester with Occupy Portland who was photographed being pepper-sprayed in the mouth made her first court appearance this week.
Elizabeth Nichols was charged with three counts of interfering with a peace officer after she was pepper-sprayed at a protest near Pioneer square on November 17th.
KBOO’s Noah Fehlberg spoke with her lawyer, Kenneth Kreuscher, who is representing a number of Occupy Portland protesters who are fighting charges related to the six-week long protest encampment.
