Today’s Pastures of Plenty begins with a song about winter wind "Northwind", by Aaron Nathans & Michael Ronstadt. It fit perfectly with the Portland cold windy weather while I prepared the show. Toward the middle of the 90-minute program is a set of folk music from the 1950s and 1960s - from Joan Baez, The Kingston Trio, The Four Preps, The Brothers Four, and Peter, Paul and Mary. Toward the end there’s a set about how humans interact with the earth on the planet Earth. And there’s a wee bit of holiday music on the way out to the Democracy Now news at seven.
