Pastures of Plenty begins with tales of the sea from Si Kahn, Gordon Lightfoot, Gordon Bok and Portland’s Shanghaied on the Willamette.
After that the show meanders through Wednesday morning, with lots to hear, from Guy Davis, Dar Williams, Glen Yarbrough, Sarah Jarosz, and many others. There are several other Portland area musicians, including Tom May, Succotash (now Swingshifters); Dave Mullany and Mary Flower. And then there’s Hank Williams, the last to speak up - "Just Waitin’"
Please join me Wednesday Oct 9th from 5:30 till 7 am. There is folk music on KBOO 90.7 FM Monday through Friday mornings, and Fridays after the noon news.
