Stories for Adults at bed time

Tonight two science fiction radio programs from the early 1950's. A long running anthology series on NBC was Deminsion X and its followup series X Minus One which adapted many stories from the magazines Astounding Tales and Galaxcy. First up is a sort of time travel piece by H. Beam Piper, Time and Time Again. A wounded soldier in a future war imagines that he has traveled back to his 13th birthday. And he tries to warn his father about what will happen in the future. Also tonight is The Defenders by Philip K. Dick. Colonizers to a distant planet are unprepared to deal with the deadly attacks from the native lifeforms..
