Another rip roarin' live episode of Radio Lost & Found!
After a lengthy Disco opening, we say goodbye to Q Lazzuras - the mysterious singer most closely associated with the films of Jonathan Demme, who passed away earlier this month - and also swanky music legend Creed Taylor, who passed away just this week at age 93. Taylor's um.. Creedentials (sorry) within the recorded Jazz world are impressive - he founded the influential label CTI (Creed Taylor International), releasing fearless and innovative albums by the likes of Freddie Hubbard and more. Sadly, I only had on hand his wonderfully weird Shock! (1958) and Panic! Son Of Shock (1960) and the finger-poppin' classic Lonelyville (1959) - all of which created with the help of the equally wonderful Kenyan Hopkins. RIP Creed.
Oh, and then some girl-fronted New Wave/No Wave, some Aussie Noise (Severed Heads) and more.
Hope you like!
