Engelhardt highlights the hypocrisy of the U.S. Military, the U.S. Government and the news media in there portrayal of the U.S. military's mission as a benevolent-counter force to the aggression of other state actors in spite of the U.S.'s long history of and ongoing acts of aggression on a world-historical scale.
