Welcome to the special Memorial Day edition of The Holy Crowley Hour, the radio show for war criminals who have not been pardoned by the president. Not yet anyway.

Our guest tonight has one of the best sci-fi podcasts in the known universe. Sarah Rhea Werner is the creator, writer, editor, executive producer, and lead actor in the very popular podcast Girl In Space. Which tells the story of a girl born and bred on a spacecraft, and left all alone after her parents pass away. She remains all alone on that spacecraft, with only an AI device named Charlotte for company. Until one day… Well, you’ll have to listen to the podcast to find out. And I think you’ll find that a very entertaining task.

In addition to her work on Girl In Space, Sarah’s a professional writer, editor, web developer, coach, speaker, voice actor, and ghostwriter, a contributor to Forbes, and the founder of the Write Now podcast. She joins us from the science fiction podcast capital of the nation – Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We'll also play the very first episode of Girl In Space -- "Cheese Is Delicious Science".

All that before Joe Woods enters the KBOO studios at midnight, bringing us Far-Away Places, a show devoted exclusively to the music of veterans from the Franco-Prussian War.

Note: The first audio file below is the entire May 2019 episode of The Holy Crowley Hour. The second audio file is a short section we had to cut due to time limitations. In this section, Sarah talks about her Podcast Now Masterclass. If you're inspired to start your own podcast -- audio fiction or non-fiction -- the masterclass is an incredible resource.
