Bill Resnick talks with Larry Kleinman, co-founder of PCUN, Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste, Oregon’s farmworker union. Over the last five years PCUN has transitioned to new day-to-day leadership, as Larry, while still advising and working in Woodburn, has worked on the national scene and in other states, developing strategy, responding to Obama and now Trump. In this interview they discuss the big picture: Trump, his strengthening of the anti-immigrant movement, how he maintains power, his impact on migrants, and the pro-immigrant movement, their responses, gains, strategy, and what they are doing now in the states and nationally.
