Join peace activist Kathy Kelly and host Lisa Loving for an hour on colonialism and nonviolence in the face of war, this Wednesday morning at 9.

Back in the 1990s, Kathy was founder of Voices in the Wilderness, where she traveled with local activist Dan Handelman of Peace and Justice Works/Portland Copwatch http://www.portlandcopwatch.org/ (and others) bringing water and medicine to Iraqi children, in violation of US sanctions. They were all sued by the federal government. http://vvawai.org/archive/ain/uta/1/Press_Release_VITW.html

Now Kathy is the co-founder of Voices for Creative Nonviolence, and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work. http://vcnv.org/
