March Music Moderne founder Bob Priest and other special guests join us in studio for a preview of this year's festivities: a film at Cinema 21 + 3 concerts at the Community Music Center << ALL FREE EVENTS >> taking place from March 22-25.
Priest and I will discuss the film & concert no. 1: "Marzena: Music at the Speed of Sound II".
Composer Jennifer Wright will be on hand to talk about concert no. 2: "Music in the Time of Absinthe: The Bohemian Mind of the Young Debussy".
And finally, composer Jeff Winslow will join us to discuss concert no. 3: Cascadia Composers: "Tombeau de Claude Debussy à Travers la Mer".
And of course there will plenty of fine music -both recorded and LIVE. Joining us in studio will be Amelia Lukas: flute, Kate Petak: harp, Jennifer Wright: toy piano in slendro, Matt Andrews: piano with Corrin Coffey: soprano & Jeff Winslow: piano
