On today's show:

  • Trackers Earth offers adult & youth outdoor programs.   Their co-founder, Molly Deis, joined contributors Tave Fasce Drake and Brian Delaney in the studio for a discussion of nature skills, the connection between literature and learning, and most importantly, how to raise healthy children.   Additionally,  Tave turned a Trackers Earth Comic into Radio Theatre. Tave and Brian are also the hosts of Peace, Love and Soup on KBOO.

  • Portland City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly and Rebecca Gilbert founded The Independent Publishing Resource Center, above Chloe's bookstore, Reading Frenzy.  The Center is a place for zine creation, letterpress, book binding and printing.  Inessa Anderson interviews Brian Tibbets, interim executive director of the IPRC, about its creation, recent expansion, and move to a new location.

  • The She-Ra Solution is a brand new installment hosted by Kristin Thieil, inspired by the recent Wonder Woman movie and its themes of powerful women and women figures.  The She-Ra Solution showcases the contributions of women of the past and present day. In this first installment, Kristin introduces us to two wonder women - activist Sophie Scholl and journalist Anne Morrissy Merick.
  • Local musician Darka Dusty contributes her "Church Of the Get Down" song, written 10 years ago as a fundraiser for Pendarvis Farm (the Pickathon music festival site).  In 2008, the city of Happy Valley wanted to put a road right through the farm.  Darka gathered over 50 musicians and secretly recorded original songs for an entire record dedicated to the love of Pendarvis Farm.
