Jan Haaken talks with Sophie Smith, an activist and humanitarian worker with No More Deaths--an organization in Southern Arizona that works to stop the death and suffering in the borderlands, much of which is the direct result of US Homeland Security policies. They talk about a recent report called "The Disappeared"--which includes the Border Patrol tactic of pushing migrants into the back country where the risk of death is much higher. Here is a video on the report.
