THEME SHOW returns! This one exploring bands pre- and post- breakup
Back To The Egg presents another themed show to keep you up way past your scheduled bedtime.
"Breaking Up Isn't Hard To Do" will explore bands that break up, and the bands that rise up from the ashes of those breakups.
Examples include Wings (from the ashes of The Beatles), Psychic TV (from the ashes of Throbbing Gristle), and New Order (formed from the ashes of Joy Division). I'll be joined by my sometime co-host Christian, a drummer who came up in the Austin music scene of the late 80's and early 90's but who is now living in Munich. We'll get kind of obscure, no doubt he has some Austin music scene examples to share and I have a few Portland-based ones as well.
