Permaculture educator Marisha Auerbach talks small space permaculture design. Plus grape pruning.
Host Glen Andresen…and somewhat perennial guest Jim Gilbert...welcome permacutlure educator Marisha Auerbach to discuss how permaculture gardening can work in your city garden. Marisha specializes in food production, ecology, and useful plants, and will gladly offer her advice. Also, this is the month for grape pruning so some tips to take the mystery out of this task. We'll also have kind of a nuts and bolts session on pruning in general and how to plant a bare-root plant.
As always, we'll answer your gardening questions, have a new Plant of the Month (Marisha's choice: perennial veggies, including lovage, nettles, walking onions and horseradish), quiz you with a new Garden Stumper, and fill you in on what's going on in the honey bee hive this month.
The Dirtbag... Listen. Laugh. Learn.
