Scotland's Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use

This week on Century of Lies: The Charter of Rights.

The Scottish Government has released a new Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use. The Charter was developed by an independent commission called the National Collaborative, which started work back in 2022. On this week’s edition of Century we hear from Marie Nougier, Head of Research and Communications at the International Drug Policy Consortium, and Volker Turk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, who spoke at the launch December 11 of Scotland’s Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use; and from Jason Wallace, Living Experience Engagement Senior Officer at the Scottish Drugs Forum, who spoke on a webinar hosted by the SDF on December 18 entitled Do The Right Thing: Delivering The Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use.
