No, of course, the two most promonent rock acts of the era, Bob Dylan and The Beatles, were not physically present at the legendary festival. But they were honored throughout the weekend by performances of their songs from multiple performers. We'll hear every cover of a Beatles or Dylan song covered at Woodstock, including versions by Joe Cocker -- yes, his fanous Beatles cover, but also no less than three Bobsongs; The Band; Crosby, Stills & Nash; Arlo Guthrie; Joan Baez; Richie Havens; and Melanie, plus a Paul Simon cover from Bert Sommer that brought the crowd to its feet on the first evening of the fest. An addendum to our recently rebroadcast Woodstock anniversary special, presenting seldom-heard versions of songs you love!
