Ripe cherries
What to do about garden pests. Plus it's not fertilizer, it's rock dust. So what is it?

Host Glen Andresen and co-pilot Jim Gilbert are back in the studio for another live show. With the first fruits and vegetables of the season come the pests, and we offer ideas of how to deal with them. Plus, rock/glacier dust is not a fertilizer, but it might be just as good. So, what is it?

As always, we'll have a new Plant of the Month (cherries) and a new Garden Stumper (the winner gets a free sharpening of a hand tool from Cully Farm Store in Northeast Portland!). Plus, our Dirtbag Dictionary term is "stippling." And, of course, what's Glen trying to understand this month.

Don't forget, if you have a gardening question, and don't want to call in, you can always email us at thedirtbag@kboo.org -- we'll answer your question on the air during the next show.

The Dirtbag, a garden variety show... Listen. Laugh. Learn.
