Wahinkpe Topa AKA Four Arrows is a made relative and pipe carrier of the Oglala Lakota, and the author of numerous books on native indigeneity, and he is professor of Educational Leadership at Fielding Graduate University. Darcia Naraez is professor emerita of Psychology at the University of Notre Dame and an award winning author of many books on indigenous wisdom and child development, as well as her work on the Evolved Nest. Together, they've created this wonderful and much needed new book Restoring the Kinship Worldview: Indigenous Voices Introduce 28 Precepts for Rebalancing Life on Planet Earth.

In this interview/conversation we delve into how the dominant western worldview and the indigenous worldview inform and determine our behavior and relationship with each other and the world around us in very different ways. And the need to change the way we see and relate to the world if we are to have a chance of surviving the crises we are facing in the world.
