Iron Tribe is hosting “The City of Roses Annual Resource Festival” This Saturday. The goal of this event is to connect Portlanders to organizations that offer resources for all people, including people experiencing homelessness and people transitioning out of prison. There will be food, drinks, music and crafts making it a day of celebration and outreach. Thats this saturday from 10am to 6pm at Pioneer Square in downtown Portland. This Saturday “In Other Words Bookstore”, the last surviving non-profit feminist bookstore in the United States, will host a Rummage Sale and veggie-friendly BBQ Benefit from 12 to 5.  They will be accepting donations of you're unwanted stuff up until the sale. Party in the Park, brought to you by the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, is a daylong festival of fun and free activities for people of all ages.  It’s this Saturday, July 31, at their main recreation complex at 158th & Walker Road, in Beaverton.  There will be giant inflatables, climbing walls, face painting, pony rides, a collector cars, trucks and motorcycles show, and more. The provisions of the “Convention on Cluster Munitions” become fully and legally binding for the countries that have signed and ratified it on August first.  Join people from across the globe this sunday at “Beat the Drum to Ban Cluster Bombs” and urge the united states to adopt the convetion as well. Meet at the Portland Peace Memorial, at the East end of the Steel Bridge at N.E. The homegrown theater company, Atomic Arts, Continues Trek in the Park this weekend with the iconic episode: SPACE seed.
