In the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon, residents of the small towns of Phoenix and Talent are starting to pick up the pieces today after the devastating Almeda wildfire swept through the area two days ago.
Six hundred homes were completely destroyed, and at least one person was killed in the fire.
A building housing a number of climate justice nonprofits was burned to the ground.
KBOO's Jenka Soderberg spoke with Allie Rosenbluth of Rogue Climate, one of the organizations that lost their office in this week's fire.
Here is a link to the Almeda Fire Mutual Aid Document talked about in the interview.
