They consider specifically the toxic narrative about outside agitators, from both the left and right, that politicians and the media are spreading to de-legitimize them. Shane also addresses the attempt (as we've covered before ) to label antifa a terrorist organization, the threat of a second civilwar, and what we can do during the pandemic to fight fascism.
Shane Burley is author of "Fascism Today: what it is and how to end it". He also writes for Jacobin, Waging Non-Violence, Truth-Out, and recently the NBCNews online op-ed column.
