Secretary of State candidate Mark Hass on ranked choice voting and the power of the audit division to address climate change

Mark Hass is an Oregon State Senator from District 14 in Washington County. Before his career in public service, Hass worked as a journalist for many years. He is known for being a tax expert in the State Senate, and was the architect of the recent Student Success Act, which establishes a corporate activity tax to fund K-12 education.

KBOO's Althea Billings spoke with Hass about election innovation in Oregon and creative ways to use the office to address climate change.
