Over the last several years, I have talked to a lot of local folks who work very hard to help other people – giving comfort to patients at the end of life, providing food and firewood to low income people, or helping people who are homeless – and they have taught me a lot about making a positive difference in my community. In this last episode of season 3, I reflect on what I have learned from these compassionate and committed local folks, and why I think the lessons they have taught me about effectively helping other people can give the rest of us guidance on how to make our communities better places to live for all of us.
