Coronavirus has turned daily life upside down for most people, and its impact on elections and government has been just as dramatic. Many states have moved back their primary dates, changing the course of the Democratic presidential prinary. Governments at all levels, state, local and federal face difficult choices with uncertain outcomes.
KBOO's Althea Billings spoke with Ben Gaskins, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Lewis & Clark College, to learn more about the political implications of COVID-1`9, including its impact on voter turnout and the economy, as well as the ramifications for government on the whole, and how the American psyche might play in to delayed reaction time.
