On this special Christmas-Eve Eve edition of The Holy Crowley Hour, which, by the way, was Mel Torme’s favorite radio show, we spread holiday cheer with actor and master storyteller David Loftus.
David hosts the long-running series “Story Time for Grownups”, which celebrates the art of reading aloud and getting read aloud to. Fortunately, for most listeners of The Holy Crowley Hour, who are up way past their bedtimes, you don’t have to be a grownup to enjoy the stories. To commemorate the holiday season, David will be reading the Sherlock Holmes Christmas tale “The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle” and, if there’s time, and your teeth are brushed and you’re ready for bed, he’ll have a bonus story for us, perhaps the greatest Christmas story of all time.
