Fall is a good time to begin or to add to your compost pile and we've got ideas and suggestions to get you going.

Host Glen Andresen welcomes back Farmer Ted (Snider) of Cully Farm Store to talk about composting and what to do with all those leaves coming your way. Plus, what to do in the garden this month, including planting cover crops, harvesting and storing winter squash, and getting ready to plant garlic (it's still too early now!).

As always, we'll have a new Plant of the Month (soft- vs. hard-necked garlic); a new Garden Stumper; and define our Dirtbag Dictionary word, "microorganism." And, if we have time, what's annoying Glen this month.

The Dirtbag... Listen. Laugh. Learn.
