Fake News: the PERS Crisis

Bill Resnick interviews Mark Brenner on the manufactured PERS crisis and the larger real crisis of pensions, with most Americans having little more than Social Security when they retire. Mark Brenner, PhD, is an economist, journalist, labor activist and career instructor at the Labor and Research Center at University of Oregon. He was a past co-director of Labor Notes, a Detroit based non-profit dedicated to “putting the movement back into the labor movement.”
