Film at 11

Aside from the usual round up of current releases the bulk of the show will be given over to a discussion of the forthcoming June 14 event at the Hollywood Theater celebrating black filmmakers in Portland. Sponsored by Open Signal, the screening event features the work of six filmmakers, all funded in part by Open Signal. RaShaunda Brooks will be the guest, to discuss the Black Filmmakers Fellowship celebration and the filmmakers whose work will be screened at the event.  More information about Open Signal can be found at the organization's website.
