American Socialist

On our todays show we'll take a look at the growing interest in socialism around the US. First, after the stunning primary election defeat of Joe Crowley by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, we'll turn to Rene Paradis, a leader in the DSA to discuss the group, how it is growing by leaps and bounds, and what its political strategy is. And, we'll cover a new documentary called American Socialist: The Life and Times of Eugene Victor Debs. Filmmaker Yale Stroms film is about one of the most important socialist figures in American history.
