HOW PEACE ACCORDS ARE BEING (AND NOT BEING) IMPLEMENTED IN COLOMBIA
Long time Old Mole contributor Norm Diamond interviews Alex Diamond. Alex has been teaching in Colombia for the past several years. Until recently, he was living in a remote community, long an area of struggle between guerrillas, paramilitaries, and the government. Alex has just published an essay in the NACLA Report (North American Congress on Latin America) on the implementation of the peace accords between the guerrillas and the government. Currently Diamond is a PhD student in sociology at the University of Texas, Austin. Full disclosure: Norm and Alex are father and son.
