Bil Resnick talks with Jeff Hunt, a millennial generation radical who keeps up with grass roots music and its resistant qualities. We discuss how many inspirational songs are two-edged, sometimes backfiring: They may promote ideas that America is the land of opportunity for all and all you need is hard work and determination. But when young people look at their families who are trying hard but not getting anywhere, they realize the hollowness of the promises.
