We examine documentary films about political and environmental activists

For this special membership-drive edition of The Film Show, we're joined by Charlie Hardy — onetime priest and senatorial candidate — and filmmaker Reed Lindsay. Charlie's quixotic fight against big money in politics is immortalized in Reed's documentary Charlie vs Goliath.

Also joining us is Portland EcoFilm Festival Director Dawn Smallman. Dawn is welcoming former Green Party vice-presidential candidate Winona LaDuke to Portland's Hollywood Theatre, along with Keri Pickett, director of the feature documentary First Daughter and the Black Snake.
