Gardener is a new musical group from Portland Oregon that includes two drummers, three guitarists, one bassist, and one vocalist.
Anthony Smith started Gardener as a concept and an art project back in the winter of 2016. The name is derived from Smith’s first memory that he could retain of his grandparent’s gardening in the backyard of their home. This moment had a powerful impact on what defined him as a self aware individual. Many Psychological disorders have impacted close relatives of Smith and impaired cognitive behavior resulted from these illnesses influenced the music sonically and conceptually.
