On Tuesday, February 7th Transpositive will host a special show on KBOO community radio,90.7FM on the radio dial in Portland, OR or online at kboo.fm celebrating transpositivity through the body positive lens of sex, love and dating.
Our guests include Trans Erotica author Tobi Hill-Meyer, editor of NERVE ENDINGS: THE NEW TRANS EROTIC featuring thirty writers connected to trans community telling thirty distinct stories about the erotic and our relationship to it.
Judah Largent, a sex educator from As You Like It Pleasure Shop in Eugene, Oregon. As You Like It is a non-toxic pleasure shop and educational center that is gender inclusive, body positive, and environmentally conscious.
Lara Americo, a transgender artist, activist and musician living in Charlotte, NC, featured in The Rolling Stone, The News and Observer, Democracy Now, The Washington Post, and on Channel 4 in England.
We will be discussiong love, sex and relationships from the unique perspective of intersex, transgender, gender non-conforming, gender queer and gender fluid persons. Too often trans* bodies are rendered invisible by a culture which diminishes transgender desires, fetishizes trans bodies or determines them abnormal or undesireable. Intersex, trans, and gender fluid/nonbinary/queer bodies are works of art and objects of desire, attraction, pleasure and joy as any body. We celebrate our unique loves, bodies, attractions and relationships.
