It's our End of Summer Halloween Special! Lots of guests will be joining Fortunato and the Sampler Crew, today. Including Dennis Nybeck, who will be in to tell us about his latest upcoming film showing. Also dropping by, is long time friend of the show, and possibly Portland's most beloved cartoonist, David Chelsea. He'll be in to tell us about the recent event spotlighting the underground cartoon scene that was in Portland, back in the last century. And that's not all, three writers from the recently released collection of short stories set in Portland, City of Weird, Stevan Allred, Jason Squamata, and Leslie What will also be joining us in the air room And that's still not all, we will present a couple of episodes of Temple Of Vampires, from a spooky old radio serial entitled I Love A Mystery. All this plus Just Jess and young PBK spinning some Halloween theme disks. Today's show is dedicated to Tarantula Ghoul. She was Portland's first late night TV, spook show, movie host from Sept. 1957 to the end of 1958. And possibly the Rose City's first Goth Gal.
