Residents of the Oakleaf Mobile Home Park in Northeast Portland have organized in an attempt to save their homes from being sold to developers. The small community is hoping to purchase the property from the owner, which would be a first for Portland. KBOO News spoke to Pastoral Associate Gabriel Triplett from the St Charles Catholic Parish in Cully and Rhonda Polk, a resident at Oakleaf, to hear more about their efforts to save the homes of 30 families.
