This is Kristin Yount for Political Perspectives on KBOO Radio. I want to take this time as a clean water, water and sewer rate payer advocate to talk about the Environmental Protection Agency’s upcoming decision about the future construction on the Willamette Harbor Superfund site to begin to bring that section of river up to Clean Water Act standards. This will begin as early as November of this year but not before a public comment period of 60 days.

I have been attending meetings organized by the Portland Harbor Citizen Advisory Group (PHCAG). There is a live show with Barbara Quinn and Jackie Calder from the Portland Harbor Citizen Advisory Group and The EPA's very own Cami Grandinetti here.  I have also talked with Travis Williams from Willamette River Keeper, EPA staff both on and off record and here is a worthwhile of interview with Rosa Longoria of the Yakima Nation for KBOO.
