Peter Neill of the World Ocean Observatory on the Once and Future Ocean

We speak with Peter Neill, Director of the World Ocean Observatory and author of the new book, The Once and Future Ocean: Notes Toward a New Hydraulic Society. Neill was previously President of the South Street Seaport Museum from 1985-2005, He has always maintained an interest in the future of the oceans. In addition to being an author and editor for American Sea Writing: a literary anthology, Neill is also a regular contributor for a blog on the Huffington Post.

Peter Neill will be one of the keynote speakers at the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference 2016 at the Opening Ceremonies at PIELC, this Thursday evening.
