Solidarity Work of Jewish Voice for Peace and Palestine's Bid for Statehood

One Land Many Voices welcomes guests Cecilie Surasky (pictured above), Jewish Voice for Peace’s Deputy Director; Dr. Husam Zomlot (pictured below) Adjunct Professor of Public Policy at Birzeit University and Director of Fatah’s Commission on Foreign Relations; and Kelly Lynn, (also below) photographer and journalist living and working in Occupied Palestine and based at Bethlehem’s Aida Refugee Camp.
Surasky will give a survey of JVP’s solidarity work over the last year and what the organization’s priorities will be for the coming new year.  Zomlot will talk about the
Palestinian statehood bid and its strategy for sovereignty, particularly
upcoming efforts at the UN. And Vancouver, Washington native Lynn will discuss her work documenting issues of Israeli occupation and apartheid, and Palestinian resistance to it.  Her work focuses on refugee populations in the Southern West Bank.
