On June 3 2014 at 11.30 am Joseph Gallivan interviews Janelle Baglien, owner of Studio Art Direct. Janelle curates art on a large scale for hostials, offices and hotels. Her latest riject, the Kaiser Permanent Medical Center in Hillsboro, features over 900 works by regional artists.  She will explain what it takes to install a piece of art, what artists can do to better  their chances of getting their work featured, and what is the magical meaning of 14 minutes.
 
Joseph Gallivan has been a reporter since 1990. He has covered music for the London Independent, Technology for the New York Post, and arts and culture for the Portland Tribune. He is currently the Business Reporter for the Portland Tribune.  He is the author of two novels, "Oi, Ref!" and "England All Over" which are available on Amazon.com
