Gay, Mormon and happily married? Welcome to Club Unicorn

Unicorns are mythical creatures.  So is Joshua Weed; a founding member of what he calls "Club Unicorn."  Joshua is a devout and happily married Mormon.  Oh, and one "small" thing.  He is also gay.  Earlier this year, Joshua and his wife Lolly, publicly came out on his blog.   While its not uncommon for Mormons who "struggle with homosexual attraction" to marry a member of the opposite sex, Josh says he accepted his orientation long ago.  Likewise, Lolly moved forward knowing she was marrying a gay man.  For both of them, it was a decision based on love and religous devotion, not gender or sexual orientation.

Join host Rebecca Nay as she speaks with Joshua and Lolly about their unique experience. Is this this a cautionary tale?  Or one of compassion, understanding, and sacrifice? How does their acceptance of Josh's sexual orientation influence their interaction with fellow Mormons?  Likewise, how does their devotion to a church that has spent millions of dollars fighting marriage equality influence their interaction with LGBT people?  How do they balance their faith and love for each other, with the reality of their circumstances?
