MUSIQUE CONCRETE: LUC FERRARI (Paris, 1929-2009) began his musical career as a pianist but after a battle with tuberculosis, participation in the "Internationale Ferienkurse Darmstadt" and an overwhelming exposure to Edgard Varese's "Deserts", he developed a keen interest in musique concrete which drove him out of the recording studio and into the world with his tape recorder.
