Threats to retirement from disappearing pensions and attacks on Social Security and Medicare
The chances of retiring with enough to live on are slim and getting slimmer, as pensions disappear, 401Ks fail to grow, and Social Security and Medicare are under attack from austerity hawks. Karen Friedman is with the Pension Rights Center in Washington, D.C. and speaks around the country on these matters. She talks here with the Old Mole's Bill Resnick, arguing that a crisis for the elderly will soon be upon us if we don't organize and act soon.
